Graduation

So my little boy graduated from preschool.

The same little boy that I prayed for (I really, really wanted a boy first- thank you Lord for blessing me with Brad and then two more!!).

The same little boy that I was so very excited to start in the same preschool I went to as a little girl.

Here is Brad on my last day of his regular preschool class (he is in a special reading program this month that is extra at the end of the year) looking at a book after snack.
It was my last day as helping mom with his regular class.

Here he is standing in front of his art projects after the graduation ceremony.
The boat and owl on the left are his teacher's, his are on the right. :)

He was so cute and proud smiling and waving to the people he knew in the crowd.

Before we left for church that day, David took a picture of the boys and I.

My three handsome guys!

This week Cor Cor started walking more!

The ceremony was cute- the little preschoolers walked up and down the isles so that everyone could see them. Then they each got their diplomas and a flower for their moms from the teacher and then they performed "Who Built The Ark," complete with hand motions. We had a nice snack time outside afterward.
It was a lovely afternoon and a nice close to Brad's three years in preschool.
Then in a couple weeks he will be done with the reading program and it will be time for Mommy to get ready for homeschooling.
I'm so grateful that Brad was able to experience the same preschool I did growing up, even the same teacher the first two years.
It was very special. :)

First Snowman of the Season

Today, Bradley got to play outside and build his first snowman of the season!

We had a little bit of snow yesterday, but it was not a wet enough snow for packing.
Thankfully, Daddy made a little pile, so that even though everything else melted this morning, there was a pile of good packing snow left for Brad to play with this afternoon.

I think the pine cone nose (or, piney-cone, as Brad would call it) is too cute!

He was in a goofy mood and didn't want to pose for a picture.

He danced all around the snowman,

and even gave it a kiss,

before we got him to smile nice with it. :)

And, of course he decided it needed to be smashed to the ground soon afterwards. That's a boy for you, I guess. :-)
Ty Baby missed all the fun because he was taking a long, much-needed, afternoon nap.

We have our Fall decorations off our stoop and switched them out with Christmas ones.

I got these sparkly twigs, leaves, and pine cones from Hobby Lobby (best craft store EVER!).
The vase is one I have been using for the other seasons, I just switch out the fake flowers or leaves.

This is the wreath I have on the door this year.
I got it for a couple of dollars at a garage sale this summer.
I really want something different, but until I find a nice-looking fake wreath that has a price tag I am willing to pay for, this will do.
I would love to decorate a wreath with a burlap bow and perhaps some other decorations.
Of course I found the idea on Pinterest. :)

Gonna Getcha!

Just recently, Tyler has discovered he can get back at his brother now that he is crawling.

David and I were on the other side of the living room talking when we heard Brad cry out.

We looked over and saw our 9 month old "getting" his brother.

I think Tyler has been waiting for this opportunity for a while now.

I guess it's only the beginning...

...of brotherly wrestling matches love. :)

Stroller Buddies

 I love these stroller buddies!

Tyler loves sitting forward now and looking at everything.

Brad wanted me to take a picture of his hand.
So I obliged.
It's the least I could do now that he smiles when I ask him to. :)

And even if that smile is a little silly and distracts his brother, I still love it.

I love these stroller buddies and am so thankful for them.

They are the perfect company on our walks. :)

Spring?

We have been loving this weather!
I can't believe it is still technically Winter.

Brad was running around outside in a long sleeved shirt and shorts today.
He even played in some mud!

He's been cute with the camera recently. He'll want to get a nice picture and then sometimes asks to see it.
He also tries to get in his brother's photos, too.
He probably doesn't want to be left out. :)

This little guy just LOVED looking around outside today, and watching his brother play.
We had the BEST day!

We went for a walk today and I'll have to post the pictures up of that tomorrow.
I remember four years ago, I went on a walk on March 3rd, it was gorgeous outside.
I was surprised to have a wonderful day of weather then, I can't believe we're having a whole week of it now in the beginning of March!

The Big Snow

Last week Bradley finally had his winter snow to play in.
On went all the winter gear.
I put the boys in the wooden sled we have that was given to us, on a blanket, to keep them warm.

And I pulled them around the house, finding out quickly that, two little boys are much harder to pull than one little boy.

Bradley loves the snow, as any little boy would.

I'm not really sure what Tyler thought of it.

He was bundled up so much he had to choice but to just sit and watch the snow fall, and Bradley play.

Bradley managed to climb his play set stairs, even with all his winter gear on.

Sliding down a slide with snow at the bottom is fun!

These sweet little moccasins were a gift for Bradley before he was born from "Uncle D." He got them on a class trip to Boston.

This was the extent of the the boys enjoying the snow together.
Hopefully next year, when Tyler is walking, he can have more fun.

I'm glad we got at least one good snow storm this winter for Bradley.
I remember there being much more snow when I was a girl.
I hope next winter is not the same!

Bradley played some more on his play set, and ate some snow.

Then Tyler let us know he had enough and inside we went.
I asked Brad if he wanted hot cocoa but he said he wanted tea.

So we warmed up our wet clothes, and had ourselves some hot tea.

Dorothy

Bradley used to be an avid fan of Elmo.
Elmo has a goldfish named Dorothy.
My mom has wanted, for a couple of years now, to get Brad his very own Dorothy.
Well, the other day, her wish came true.

She came over, and said she had a surprise for Brad.
She told him not to look until she was ready, and set something on his little table.

It was a goldfish!
(yes, Brad is wearing pajamas, he was dressed before this for the day but he likes to change his outfit throughout the day. :)

Now Bradley has his own Dorothy.
We don't know how long he/she will last but we'll take good care of Dorothy. :-)

Dorothy is in a bigger bowl now, gets fed twice a day, and sits on our kitchen counter.

Dorothy is a cheery addition to our house!
