Last month my friend
Jenilee brought up on her blog's Facebook page that she would be interested in doing a 30 day photography challenge.
This appealed to me because I love trying new things with my camera but I definitely need the motivation to actually do it.
We will be posting on Sunday of our photos from the previous week.
Here are my first two photos-
They are not super because I was a little rushed in taking them (we just remembered yesterday we wanted to start this!) and I have yet to find my remote for my camera.
Not as easy but definitely doable. I just had my son stand where I would be so I could pre-focus then put it in manual focus so it wouldn't change when I pushed the button for the timer. :)
The first day is self portrait.
It was a dreary day so I just took my picture inside after I had gotten ready for going out to dinner with David and the boys.

The second day is "What I Wore."
Again, I will have to get better at this! Oh, and I am wearing the same top as the day before but in my defense I only wore it when we went out- so for about a couple hours. :)
I did not take my picture in the morning before or after church (this is what I wore to church) and then I took a nap and stayed in sweats and a t-shirt all day. So.....I actually put this outfit back on just to take the picture. :)

Shirt- Gap Outlet; jean skirt- Target; black flats- Vera Wang from her line at Kohl's (on sale last year I think for $30 and they were so worth it- I have worn them a LOT); necklace- gift from best friend (I was in her wedding and that was the necklace I wore); bracelet- heart on a chain (similar to the Tiffany bracelet) from Silpada.
So there you have it. My first two photos are not spectacular photography wise, but I am not a fan of taking a picture of myself with a tripod and I did not have much time.
Check back next Sunday to see what I took photographs of this week and also check out my friend
Jenilee's blog and her photos for this challenge!
