Gonna Getcha!

Just recently, Tyler has discovered he can get back at his brother now that he is crawling.

David and I were on the other side of the living room talking when we heard Brad cry out.

We looked over and saw our 9 month old "getting" his brother.

I think Tyler has been waiting for this opportunity for a while now.

I guess it's only the beginning...

...of brotherly wrestling matches love. :)

Stroller Buddies

 I love these stroller buddies!

Tyler loves sitting forward now and looking at everything.

Brad wanted me to take a picture of his hand.
So I obliged.
It's the least I could do now that he smiles when I ask him to. :)

And even if that smile is a little silly and distracts his brother, I still love it.

I love these stroller buddies and am so thankful for them.

They are the perfect company on our walks. :)

Warm Winter Day

We were spoiled in the beginning of January with some mild weather.
One beautiful sunny afternoon I took the boys outside for a while.
Brad loved it.

He ran around and had fun.

I also took the opportunity to get a nice outside picture of the boys.

Tyler was all bundled up in his winter jacket (bought at a consignment store!) so he could hardly move.
I think I need to see if I can find a pair of Brad's old shoes that fit him though.

Even though it was the afternoon it was still like "evening" light. That's what happens when the sun goes down at 4:30. It is later now but in the beginning of January it was getting dark out very early.

Tyler was content to watch his brother.

Watching him spin was good entertainment for him.

I don't know when we will get mild weather again. It might be until the end of February or March but we did enjoy what we had this month.
I don't mind winter so much. It's nice to have a quiet and calm couple of months.
It helps me appreciate the beauty of Spring and new life.

Superboys!

Bradley and Tyler got these super cute shirts from their Uncle D last month.
Brad's has a red cape that is attached with velcro.

And Tyler's is a cute little onesie.

When I put this on Tyler the other day, Brad told me he wanted his Superman on, too.
He likes it when they wear similar clothes.

The boys are starting to play together more, now that Tyler can sit up.
It is a lot of fun for me to see them do this.

And of course, Brad loves it, too.
He has been waiting for Tyler to play with him.
Before Tyler could pick things up he would place toys on his stomach when he would lounge in his baby seat.
Now he finally has a play mate!

Picture, please!

Sometimes Brad asks to hold his brother or take a picture with him.
I think for these pictures he just wanted to sit next to him and I thought it was a good time for a picture.
This is Brad's typical picture face.
Serious.
He'll be all smiles before and then, ask to see the picture afterwards and be happy, but for some reason, he thinks this is how he should be when I'm taking a photo of him.

Besides getting the occasional picture with his brother Brad also likes taking pictures.
We are working on him looking through the viewfinder, or "window."
He didn't do too bad of a job. :)

Brad then told me he wanted to see my hands. He sounded a little concerned, too.
Like, maybe he thought they disappeared if he didn't see them in the picture.
So, I obliged and put my hands up by my face.

These guys are definitely my favorite subjects to photograph!

Boo!

It was so cute, the other night Bradley was playing with Tyler.

Tyler was lounging in the Nap Nanny and Brad decided he was going to scare him.
He wasn't doing it in a mean way, just a playful way.

He would run around the house, come up behind Tyler and lean over and say "Boo!"

It was the cutest thing and of course Tyler loved it!

He's probably looking forward to the day when he can chase Brad back.

It's so nice to see them playing now that Tyler is older.

The fun is just starting. :)

Brothers Forever

The boys have a super cute book my mom got them titled, "Brothers Forever."
It is a board book about two brothers and the things they do and share.
Brad loves the book and knows that one boy is him, and the other is Tyler.

I hope and pray that these two precious boys grow up close and are best friends.
That they will want to call the other up on the phone, hang out with each other, encourage one another, and look out for each other.

I am SO THANKFUL that God gave me my two boys- they are everything I was hoping for. :)

Curious George and Brother Time

My favorite days are when the boys and I are home all day and we just get to do fun stuff, of course I like to slip in some house work time when they are otherwise occupied or napping (worked on my closet a little today and cleaned the dining room and kitchen floors-woot-woot!).

Earlier today Brad came out of his room and said, "George and I are dressed!"

This little cutie got himself and Curious George dressed for the day.
Their clothes were even on right!
I love what he picked for George- bright pajama pants with a fun Walt Disney World top.

After I took some photos of them, Brad decided that he wanted to run around and tap everything and just be silly!
He wanted to see the pictures in my camera and then do it all over again.
This went on for a while. :)

Then Tyler got to hold Curious George while Brad played a little in the walker.
Brad thinks the baby toys are fun. We have to remind him he's too heavy for the swing and jumper but we let him play in the walker.

My Tyler baby is getting big for his swing! The straps are tight on his shoulders, but they don't let out anymore.

Later on today I had Tyler try to have some sit-up time.
He was propped up with some pillows at his sides so he could play with his toy basket, and his brother was beside him on another blanket playing a game.
He did well sitting up!
Oh, and about this picture- I love it but the laundry basket is distracting behind his head! There is always so much to think about when taking a photo. :)

In the afternoon, when it was getting close to Tyler's nap time, Brad wanted to play with him in his crib.
I let them play for a while and video taped them (that's not really the correct term anymore, is it?) with my DSLR and snapped a few still shots while doing that.
Of course Tyler loved it!

And, yes, those are pajama pants on Brad's head. :)
I love my boys and love quiet days at home with them!

John Deere Green

Bradley and Tyler were both gifted John Deere t-shirts recently.

Brad tried his on later that day they were gifted them and then gave me Tyler's shirt to put on him.

He then wanted to hold Tyler and let me get a picture of them together. :)

I love these two little boys so much and I hope that they will grow up to be best friends.

And that they will enjoy John Deere as much as Daddy does. (Brad already seems to. :)
