Okay, I'll admit it, I'm an emotional eater. I eat when: I'm happy, sad, lonely, bored, depressed...and, that just about covers everything, right? Well, sadly I don't always have healthy food readily available in my cabinets to munch on. Truthfully, even if I do, sometimes I go for the "comfort" food, like chocolate or chips or my husband's cookies. I do want to eat healthy. So, I try to make sure I have ingredients and snacks to make food that I can grab between meals. One of my favorites is mixed nuts, raisins and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Here is a picture I took a while ago, with my point and shoot and no editing(not that this is an exceptionally great photo, just saying that because my photos recently have been with my DSLR and edited).
OK, so good to know about the point and shoot, because my hubby said I can start CAMERA SHOPPING!!!! (I'm a very spoiled little wifey poo!) And, you and Maura (from Fostering Awareness) have great photos on your blogs and you have the same camera!
Oh - favorite healthy snack? Have you ever frozen grapes? They come out very sweet and yummy. MMmmmmm.
I am a blessed stay-at-home mom of three beautiful baby boys. My husband and I love living in the country and watching our sons grow. I like to back myself into "creative corners," that is, I like to start projects and either not have time to finish them or give up on them because I don't have the patience to finish. More specifically I enjoy planting my flower garden once a year- but not weeding it, trying to take creative photographs, sew something once in a while, bake scrumptious and delectable, as well as, eye-pleasing desserts, and lately, trying my hand at blogging. Things that I think are important in my life are: my relationship with Jesus, my family, friends, trying to eat as much organic and all-natural food as I can and using all-natural personal and cleaning products.
David
My handsome and hardworking husband that takes such good care of the boys and I. He is a blessed daddy and so are our sons.
Bradley
My baby boy who grew into an almost-six-year-old too quickly! He is my sweet boy who loves to read books, sometimes cuddle with Mommy, Daddy, Tyler and Corey, and likes to "talk" on the phone.
Tyler
Our second-born, full of fun when he is at home with his family, but usually a little more reserved and cautious in public. :)
I love fresh fruit! And chocolate :p
ReplyDeletePopcorn - buttery and salty and hot! :-)

I'm a potato chip gal, at least I am if there are any in reach. Otherwise I try to keep the fruit bowl full...
