Fun With Daddy

This past weekend Brad got to visit a couple parks.
He and Daddy went on the swings.

And they went down the slide.

Then, later that day they had fun with the tractors.
Daddy rode Brad's metal pedal tractor and Brad rode the toddler one.

The next day was our church picnic.
There was a BIG slide there that Brad got to go down.
Of course, being independent, after he went down a few times he wanted to go up by himself.

Daddy was right with him to make sure he didn't fall.

So proud of himself. :)

He didn't want to go by himself though after all, he still wanted Daddy to slide down with him.

Fun was had by all.
Having a child has definitely made David and I do things we haven't done since we were kids.
When was the last time you went down a slide?

On a completely different topic, we had a visitor outside our bathroom window tonight.

This was taken through the dirty window and screen so it's not very clear.
He was chowing down these big leaves so fast!
The woodchuck family lives under our shed at the other part of the yard so I'm not sure if this is the same woodchuck from that family.
I think they are very cute animals!

They kind of remind me of beavers.
What woodland creatures have you found in your yard?

  1. So cute! My fav is the pic of Brad in the baby swing with his little legs sticking out and the one at the end of the slide where they are both smiling. Great shots, looks like they had a good time (mama needs to get in front of the camera ;-)

  2. I have Mountain Loins in my yard! hehe Just kidding, Matt told me it was a Bob Cat anyways not a mountain loin. :) David looks like he has as much fun as Bradley.

  3. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I love the playground pictures .. we have definitely rediscovered our childhood having kids in the house, too!

The only animals that frequent our yard are deer. We have an apple orchard that a buck and a doe feed on every day - usually midday, too!

    Love this post!
