It seems that 23 months have gone by very fast.
He is no longer a baby but not yet a two-year-old.
In just a month his age will not be counted in months, but in years.

His Daddy and I thank God that he is such a joy to be around. He loves mommy and daddy.
He is so sweet when he is playing and gives us something, like from his kitchen set and says "Here go, Momma."
He will pat a chair or a spot on the floor if he wants us to sit somewhere.
In response to a question he will say "Alright!"
He likes to talk on the "sone" (phone) and says "Hello, Bye!"
His current thing is wanting to hold our hands a lot and he will put his hand out towards ours and say "Haaann!" He especially likes this when Daddy is driving. It's not so fun for mommy, twisting my arm back to hold his, but I do it for a while.
He wishes he could eat "chichis" (cookies) instead of his lunch or dinner.
At bedtime, we put in his lullaby tape- "Goodnight, Sleep Tight," and when the tape is finished on the first side and stops he yells "Uh-oh, uh-oh" and one of us will go up and turn the tape over. This does not happen every time, sometimes he will fall asleep before the first half is over.
When it's time to pray he makes little fists and covers them with his eyes. He also murmurs along with Daddy's prayer and says "Amen" at the end.
He is becoming his own little person more and more every day.
I love watching him learn and grow and I continue to pray that God will help me be the best wife and mommy to the two precious people He has in my life!

Awww so cute. They do grow up fast. I remember the 23months to changing to 2 years. He will be 3 at the end of February. Crazy!

ReplyDeletewhat a fun post. yes, we quickly forget months and count by years... but we never really forget those first months and all the fun of a toddler under 2!

ReplyDeleteIt makes my heart melt when my little guys say, "Amen" too.
What a sweet post! They do grow up fast...and then leave you with an empty nest. But I wouldn't change a thing- being a mom to our 4 daughters was the grandest thing that ever happened to me!
ReplyDeleteHe sounds just precious!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love to see his little personality developing? :)
I smiled while reading this post. Aaron asked, "What are you DOING?"
ReplyDeleteWith every line, my grin got bigger.
"Remembering, Aaron...remembering."
